Word template tag checker
Check a Word template before you use it: unclosed tags, mismatched sections and invalid names are reported with a plain-English fix, and you see the exact questionnaire it would produce. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.

Questions
What does the checker look for?
It reads your .docx with the same engine as the Clausery app, including headers and footers, and reports tag problems such as a section that is opened but never closed or a tag name Clausery cannot use. If the template is valid, it shows the questionnaire Clausery would build from it.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The file is read inside this page and never leaves your computer.
What tag syntax does it expect?
Single curly braces: {client_name} for a value, {#has_retainer}…{/has_retainer} for optional text, {^has_retainer}…{/has_retainer} for the opposite, and {#items}…{/items} for repeating paragraphs or table rows.
