A purchase order to a supplier: the PO number and date, the vendor, where to deliver and by when, the items with quantities and prices, tax and shipping, payment terms, special instructions, and standard terms on confirmation, invoicing and rejected goods.

An agreement to rent out equipment: each item with its serial number and replacement cost, the rental period and rate, an optional deposit and delivery, a late return fee, condition at handover, permitted use and operators, loss and damage, optional insurance, and the renter's responsibility for how it is used.

Minutes for a board, committee, team or club meeting: the date, time and place, the chair and minute taker, who attended and who sent apologies, quorum, approval of the last minutes, a summary and decision for each agenda item, action items with owners and due dates, and the next meeting.

A firm but polite letter asking a customer to pay an overdue balance by a deadline, with optional invoice number, interest and next steps.
FinancePromissory note
A promissory note for a personal or business loan with the principal, optional interest, lump-sum or instalment repayment, prepayment, default after a grace period and an optional witness.
FinancePayment reminder letter
A payment reminder letter for an overdue invoice, from a friendly first reminder to a final notice before further action, with optional part payment, late fee and the date you will act.
FinanceLoan agreement
A loan agreement for a family, friend or business loan: the amount and purpose, optional interest capped at the legal maximum, one repayment or instalments, early repayment, an optional late fee, collateral and guarantor, default and governing law.
FinanceInvoice
An invoice with your business details and tax number, an invoice number and due date, the client's purchase order number, a list of items with quantity, rate and amount, an optional discount and tax, any amount already paid, and how to pay.
FinancePayment receipt
A receipt for a payment you received: a receipt number and date, who paid, the amount in figures and optionally in words, what the payment was for and its invoice number, how it was paid, and whether it was paid in full or leaves a balance.
FinanceGift letter for a mortgage
A gift letter for a home purchase: the donor and their relationship to the buyer, the gift amount, when the money was or will be transferred, a clear statement that no repayment is expected, the property address, the donor's contact details and both signatures.
FinanceExpense reimbursement form
An expense reimbursement form with a line for each expense (date, description, category and amount), an optional mileage claim, the total, any advance already received, receipts, payment details and an approval signature.
FinanceCredit note
A credit note that reduces or cancels an invoice: the original invoice number and date, the reason, each credited item and amount, optional tax, the total credit, and whether it is refunded or applied to an outstanding or future invoice.

Rental application
An application for a rental home: the property and rent, any application fee, the applicant's contact details, current and previous landlords, employer and income, other occupants, pets, vehicles, references, consent to screening and a fair housing statement.
Real estateRent receipt
A receipt for rent received: a receipt number and date, the tenant and property, the amount, the rental period it covers, any late fee or other charges, how it was paid, and the balance still due after a partial payment.

A landlord's offer to renew a lease: when the current lease ends, the length and dates of the new term, the rent, any other changes, an optional month-to-month alternative, the date to reply by, and a line for the tenant to accept.

A lease for a house or apartment, for a fixed term or month to month: each tenant, rent and due day, an optional prorated first month and late fee, the security deposit, utilities, occupants, pets, smoking, repairs, entry, subletting, parking and disclosures.

A two-way non-disclosure agreement for when both sides will share confidential information: partnership talks, M&A conversations, joint ventures, vendor evaluations.
LegalNon-solicitation agreement
Stops a departing employee or contractor from poaching your customers or staff for a set number of months, without stopping them working for anyone else. Customer and staff clauses can be switched on or off.
LegalLiability waiver
A release and waiver of liability for people taking part in an activity or event: the specific risks, assumption of risk, a release that names negligence plainly, optional emergency medical and photo consent, and a parent or guardian section for participants under 18.
LegalEmployee NDA
A confidentiality agreement for employees: what counts as confidential, how long it lasts after they leave, returning company property, and the notices US law expects, with no non-compete.
LegalContractor NDA
A one-way confidentiality agreement for hiring a freelancer or contractor: who they can share with, how fast they report a breach, deleting files at the end, and whether the work can go in their portfolio.
LegalNDA for selling a business
A confidentiality agreement to sign before you show a potential buyer your numbers: it covers the fact that the business is for sale, bars contact with staff and customers, and can stop the buyer hiring your employees.

An engagement letter that sets out scope, the team, fees and billing for a new matter. It supports hourly or flat fees, an optional retainer, and a list of attorneys with their rates.

A unilateral non-disclosure agreement for when only one side shares confidential information: pitching an idea, hiring a contractor, showing a prototype or sharing financials with a potential buyer.

A cease and desist letter that describes the conduct, states the basis of the complaint, lists exactly what the recipient must do, sets a deadline and reserves your rights.

A general bill of sale for a car, boat, equipment, furniture or any other item: the buyer and seller, what was sold, the price, full payment or a deposit and balance, ownership, an as-is or warranty choice, and optional vehicle, witness and notary sections.
LegalGeneral release
A release agreement that settles a dispute: the payment or other value given, a general release of all claims or only those about the dispute, an optional mutual release, an optional waiver of unknown claims, no admission of liability, withdrawal of any pending case, and optional confidentiality.
LegalHold harmless agreement
An agreement in which one party, or each party, takes responsibility for claims arising from an activity: a one-way or mutual hold harmless and indemnity, an optional duty to defend, exceptions for gross negligence and willful misconduct, optional liability insurance naming the other party, and notice of claims.
LegalNon-compete agreement
A non-compete agreement between an employer and an employee: the role, what the employee receives for agreeing, a restricted period, area and type of competing business, optional pay while the restriction lasts, notice to a new employer, and a clause that narrows the restriction wherever local law limits it.
LegalContract termination letter
A letter ending a contract with a client, vendor or supplier: it identifies the contract and the termination clause, terminates for convenience or for cause with the breach and cure notice, sets the effective date and notice period, and covers final payment, return of materials, surviving terms and reserved rights.
HR letters
Employment agreement
A full employment contract for a new hire: role and duties, hours, salary and bonus, paid time off and benefits, probation, confidentiality, and how employment ends, either at will for US employers or with notice periods everywhere else.
HREmployee warning letter
A written warning to an employee about conduct, attendance or performance: what happened and when, the rule it breaks, what needs to change by when, and what happens next. One switch turns it into a final written warning.
HRPromotion letter
A letter confirming an employee's promotion: the new title and start date, what the role involves, any new manager, location or salary, and an optional review after the first few months.
HROffer letter
A job offer letter with remote or office variants, salary, optional bonus and equity, a benefits list and offer conditions.
HREmployment verification letter
A letter confirming that someone works, or used to work, for your company, with their job title, dates and employment type, and optionally their salary.
HRTermination letter
A clear, respectful notice of termination covering the end date, notice or pay in lieu, final pay, optional severance, return of company property and who to contact.
HRReference letter
A reference letter for a former employee or colleague with their role, dates, responsibilities, a list of strengths and an optional recommendation for a specific role.
HRSalary increase letter
A short letter confirming a pay rise: the old and new salary, the effective date, the first payslip that shows it, and an optional reason and new job title.
HRInternship offer letter
An internship offer covering dates, paid or unpaid status, an optional stipend, weekly hours, remote or office location, supervisor, learning objectives and academic credit.
HRResignation letter
A professional resignation letter with your last working day, notice period, an optional reason, an offer to help with the handover and an optional thank-you.
HRTwo weeks notice letter
A short, professional resignation letter giving two weeks' notice: your job title and last working day, an optional reason, an offer to help hand over your work, returning company property, a thank-you, and how to reach you after you leave.
HRSeverance agreement
A severance agreement with a release of claims: the separation date, final pay owed either way, severance in a lump sum or instalments, optional paid health coverage, a release of claims with clear exceptions, protected rights, the review and revocation periods required for employees aged 40 and over, and optional non-disparagement and reference terms.
HRJob description
A job description for a job posting or an internal role: the title, team, location and employment type, who the role reports to, an optional pay range, a short summary, lists of responsibilities, requirements and nice-to-have skills, benefits, how to apply and an optional equal opportunity statement.
HRPerformance improvement plan
A performance improvement plan that sets out the concerns, a list of measurable goals with due dates, the support the company will give, how often you will check in, what happens at the end of the plan, and an acknowledgement of receipt.
HRRemote work agreement
A remote work agreement for fully remote or hybrid arrangements: where and when the employee works, how to reach them, the equipment the company provides, an optional home office allowance, security and confidentiality, expenses, and how the arrangement is reviewed or ended.
