Questions

What should a remote work agreement include?

Where the employee works, their hours and availability, the equipment provided, security rules, expenses, and how the arrangement can be reviewed or ended. Everything else about the job stays the same.

Why does the work location matter?

Working from another state or country can change payroll tax, employment law and insurance. The agreement asks the employee to tell the company before working from somewhere new.

Can the company end a remote work arrangement?

This template lets either side end it with notice, after which the employee returns to the office. Check any local rules or contract terms that say otherwise.

Is it really free?

Yes. The download is free, and filling it in with the Clausery app is free too, with unlimited documents. Library templates never count towards a plan limit, and no account or card is needed.

Is my information uploaded anywhere?

No. Clausery runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and the finished document are created and stored on your own device.

Is this legal advice?

No. These are general samples. Laws differ between countries and states, so have the wording reviewed for your situation before you rely on it.
