Questions

What should a payment receipt include?

The date, a receipt number, who paid, the amount, what it was for, how it was paid and who received it. For a part payment, add the balance still owed and when it is due.

Is a receipt the same as an invoice?

No. An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms that payment was received. Many businesses send an invoice first and a receipt once it is paid.

Why write the amount in words?

An amount written in words as well as figures is harder to alter and settles any doubt if the figures are unclear. The free amount in words converter writes it for you.

Is it really free?

Yes. The download is free, and filling it in with the Clausery app is free too, with unlimited documents. Library templates never count towards a plan limit, and no account or card is needed.

Is my information uploaded anywhere?

No. Clausery runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and the finished document are created and stored on your own device.

Is this legal advice?

No. These are general samples. Laws differ between countries and states, so have the wording reviewed for your situation before you rely on it.
