What should a pet sitting contract include?

The pets and their needs, the dates and type of care, the fee and deposit, how the sitter gets into the home, emergency contacts, what the sitter may spend on a vet, and cancellation terms.

Why include a vet authorisation?

So the sitter can get a sick or injured pet treated quickly if the owner cannot be reached, up to an amount the owner has agreed.

Do pet sitters need insurance?
